Foriegn Trade Zone

An FTZ is a specific area granted by the FTZ Board that is recognized by U.S. Customs as being outside of Customs territory.

	Reduction or elimination of payment for U.S. Customs duties on imported goods.
	Importers can store shipments in a zone and gradually import partial shipments as needed, thereby improving cash flow.
	Improved logistics by using a local FTZ instead of bonded storage.

FTZ benefits vary with each individual user.
